Khairul recently returned to Malaysia from New York, where he obtained his Diploma in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. He now freelances as a producer and director. His short film Bandit’s Dream was the runner-up audience award winner at the New York Film Academy 2004 awards as well as at Malaysian Shorts 2005. It was also a finalist in the short film category at the Malaysian Film Awards 2005. Khairul’s work also includes telemovies (Finding (2007)), television programmes (Rexona Dance Challenge (TV3), Malaysia 2020 (TV2)), music videos (Deja Voodoo Spells, Doul, The Good People) and infomercials. |
