Rabbit (aka Ivan Chan) is best known as a solo electronica artist, his first album Tales of the Nocturnal Man (2001) winning Best English Album and also garnering him Best New English Artist at the AIM 2001 music awards. Collaborating with local dance pioneer Jungle Jerry, he then released a dance compilation, Presence KUL02, under his own label Starrabbit Productions, and formed Fei Fei (a duo project with Jungle Jerry), whose single dance release The Heart of Dreaming was No 1 in the local charts for four successive weeks. He has also composed and produced material for Taiwanese megastar Fei Xiang (aka Kris Phillips). Rabbit’s latest album Mango Overheat (2007) was nominated for Best English Album in the AIM 2007 awards. His film scoring work can be heard in the telemovie Jalan Berangan and television series Dark City. |
